What do Stand in the Gap and the mob have in common?

By October 20, 2016June 24th, 2022No Comments

Not a whole lot.

But God’s stories of transformation happen even in the most unlikely of places: the prison yard, the road to Damascus, the maternity ward, the addict’s kitchen floor, the foster home, the street corner, the funeral home…

For Michael Franzese, it was a chance meeting with a believer (his future wife) that changed the course of his life. One of the most powerful men in the mob encountered God the Father, and his life was never the same.

These are the unlikely stories of transformation that we celebrate and (as often as possible) facilitate at Stand in the Gap.

Join us for lunch November 15 in Tulsa or November 16 in OKC to hear from Michael Franzese live as well as powerful stories of transformation in the lives of people served by Stand in the Gap.
