Dear Friends of Stand in the Gap…

As I have reflected on all Jesus has done in and through Stand in the Gap during the past year, I have been deeply struck by the power of his evident presence and provision from top to bottom. There was not a single situation this past year where we were not given exactly what we needed to faithfully participate in the mission he so kindly set before us. Beginning with praise is fitting, and I hope that this report fills your heart with thanksgiving and praise as you see your own fingerprints upon the “great works” the Lord has done in and through Stand in the Gap in 2023.

2023 was the largest year of impact and fundraising in 26 years of ministry! We relationally served 10,255 individuals, a 114% increase from 2022. Through our remarkably dedicated and generous community of donors, foundations, and churches, Stand in the Gap raised $1,135,547- a 25% growth from 2022. This is the first time in 26 years that Stand in the Gap exceeded 1 million dollars in contributions. As we lay our hands and hearts to the work set before us in 2024, we will be focused on maniacal stewardship of all that is given, the continued development of strong operational infrastructures for wise and sustainable growth, the health and longevity of our staff, and most importantly, prayer.

Our standing and trustworthiness in the community are stronger than they ever have been, and our community partnerships are growing and thriving. Due to this, our community is asking more and more. I am convinced that by the grace of Jesus in and through people like YOU, we will all rise together again in 2024 to meet the immense need that our community is laying at the feet of us all.
